Procurement Expert Services and Raw Materials Job Overview
The Procurement Expert Services and Raw Materials position is a key role in managing the procurement of raw materials and indirect goods/services. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring supply chain continuity and cost-efficiency through supplier selection, negotiation, and sustainable procurement management.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with planning, production, and finance teams to optimize inventory levels and support the company's operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sourcing and Contract Negotiation: Identify and source high-quality suppliers for raw materials and indirect goods/services, negotiate contracts that meet business requirements, and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
* Supplier Management: Collaborate with planning and warehouse teams to manage procurement needs, avoid shortages, and maintain accurate records of supplier performance.
* Purchase Order Processing: Accurately process purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and track invoicing in SAP.
* Market Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with market trends and price developments for critical materials, making informed decisions to drive business growth.
Requirements:
* Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in the chemical/industrial sector.
* Negotiation and Supplier Management Skills: Strong negotiation and supplier management skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining successful relationships.
* Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with SAP for procurement tasks, including purchase order processing and vendor management.
* Educational Background: At least a bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related fields.
* Languages: Fluency in Dutch and English.
