Your role
As a Senior Business Manager, you are a key driver of Strand's growth in the Life Sciences sector.You take ownership of your business scope, combining business development, client relationship management, and talent collaboration, while contributing to a high-performance and human-centric environment.This is a 360° business role, with a strong focus on strategic business development and long-term client partnerships.
Your responsibilities
Business DevelopmentIdentify, approach, and develop new clients within Life SciencesBuild and expand a strong client portfolioLead the full sales cycle: from opportunity identification to contract closingDrive sustainable revenue growth aligned with Strand's ambitions
Client Relationship ManagementAct as a trusted advisor to your clientsUnderstand their challengesPropose tailored consulting solutions with high added valueEnsure high client satisfaction and long-term partnerships
Talent & Consultant ManagementCollaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract top consultantsAssess candidates and ensure alignment with client needs and Strand standardsBuild and maintain a strong network of consultantsFollow-up on consultants' missions and support their development together with Talent Management
Networking & Market IntelligenceDevelop and maintain a strong professional networkStay up to date with market trends and industry evolutionIdentify new opportunities and emerging areas of growth
Internal CollaborationWork closely with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Marketing, and EventsContribute to employer branding and business positioningShare knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement
Your profile
Experience5–10+ years of experience in business management, consulting, or business developmentStrong experience in Life Sciences (pharma, biotech, medtech, healthcare) is preferredProven track record in developing and managing client portfoliosSkillsStrong commercial mindset with a consultative selling approachAbility to engage and influence senior stakeholdersExcellent communication, negotiation, and listening skillsAbility to combine strategic thinking with hands-on executionMindsetEntrepreneurial and results-drivenStrong ownership and accountabilityNatural relationship builder (clients & consultants)Curious and eager to understand complex environmentsProactive, resilient, and solution-orientedLanguagesFluent in EnglishFrench and/or Dutch required
