Imec offers topics in engineering, science and industrial sciences, for a broad range of activities. The programme aims at students with a technical or scientific background, but students with other qualifications can also apply. Internships in the Nano IC framework The NanoIC pilot line is a result of European collaboration. It’s hosted by imec (Belgium), and its partners include CEA-Leti (France), Fraunhofer (Germany), VTT (Finland), CSSNT (Romania), and Tyndall National Institute (Ireland). To strengthen Europe’s semiconductor industry, the NanoIC pilot line invests in talent development through: · Internships for Bachelor’s & Master’s students · Expert courses on advanced semiconductor technologies · Design pathfinding PDKs as learning assets · Interuniversity research programs across Europe Nano IC-related internship topics include: · Machine-learning for epitaxy analysis · Thermal integrity in 2.5D packaging · Advanced design technology co-optimization · Parasitic extraction for large cells · Area-selective deposition for nanoscale structures · and more! By bridging academia and industry, NanoIC is building a skilled, diverse, and innovative semiconductor workforce. Do you want to contribute to the NanoIC project line? All students need to provide us with a student placement agreement signed by a representative of the university/high school. Therefore, students must be registered at a school/university during their entire period at imec. Over 70 internship positions are currently available, don't hesitate to apply!
