Young Graduate Program – Sales Track

BEL Belgium – Start your career with iconic brands

At BEL, we believe that the best leaders start by understanding the business from the ground.

That’s why we created our Young Graduate Program – Sales Track: an opportunity for ambitious graduates to launch their career in a fast-moving consumer goods company with strong brands like La Vache Qui Rit, Maredsous, Mini Babybel, Boursin and Kiri.

This program is designed to develop the future leaders of BEL. It offers a unique opportunity for young graduates to first gain two years of field experience "on the road", allowing them to understand the dynamics of sales and build strong foundations. After this initial phase, the ultimate ambition is for participants to transition into a strategic office function within our Business Unit in Braine-l'Alleud.

Your journey at BEL

You will start your career on the field, where the business really happens.

For 12 to 24 months, you will work as a Sales Representative, managing a portfolio of customers in Retail and OOH (Out Of Home) channels.

During this time, you will:

1. Develop strong commercial and negotiation skills
2. Learn how the Retail and OOH markets operate
3. Drive sales growth and in-store / in-location execution
4. Build long-term relationships with customers
5. Collaborate closely with marketing, category management and supply chain teams
6. Gain a deep understanding of our brands, products and consumers
7. This experience will give you the foundations to grow within BEL.

After this first phase, high-performing participants will have the opportunity to move into a first office-based role, depending on their interests and strengths.

Your responsibilities (during the Sales phase)

12. As a Sales Representative, you will:
13. Manage, develop and expand a portfolio of Retail and/or OOH customers
14. Ensure excellent visibility, availability and promotion of BEL brands
15. Implement commercial agreements and promotional activities
16. Acquire new clients and build strong relationships to drive portfolio growth
17. Monitor sales performance and identify growth opportunities
18. Share insights from customers and consumers with internal teams

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for high-potential graduates who want to grow into future leaders.

You are:

19. A recent graduate (Master’s degree – Business, Economics, Engineering or similar)
20. Passionate about business, brands and customers
21. Curious, energetic and eager to learn
22. Entrepreneurial and comfortable taking ownership and responsibility
23. Fighting spirit with positive mindset
24. Strength of recommendation
25. Proud of our brands (you are a real ambassador !)
26. Strong in communication and relationship building
27. Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus)
28. Willing to start your career on the field
