Success depends on optimizing prices to balance short-term margins with long-term growth, employing strategic tactics and tools, from price display to machine learning algorithms.
This role involves crafting Agoda’s global pricing strategy, working closely with senior management, marketing, and product teams, while managing and expanding a team of pricing managers and analysts.
What You Would Be Doing
* Work with C-level executives and stakeholders to craft a global pricing strategy aligned with Agoda’s priorities.
* Manage a multi-million dollar budget and provide visibility to internal stakeholders.
* Collaborate with the Product team to develop tools for executing and monitoring pricing actions and improving price display across channels.
* Gather benchmarking data and intelligence from local markets, responding to moves from competitors and hotel partners.
* Design and deploy pricing campaigns balancing short-term financial goals with strategic imperatives.
* Inspire, coach, and expand a team of analysts and campaign managers through hiring and development.
What You Need to Succeed
* Experience in strategic articulation and negotiation with C-level executives; strategy consulting experience is a plus.
* Excellent analytical skills and love for data.
* Ability to foster cooperation across teams and nationalities.
* Proven people management skills, including hiring and developing talent.
* P&L management experience.
* Entrepreneurial spirit and a get-things-done attitude.
* Exposure to IT and Product Development.
