Insurance Policy Specialist
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Insurance Policy Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing insurance policies, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Create new and renewal insurance policies within our technical policy system
* Review and initiate policy endorsements and certificates
* Analyze technical data and calculate technical transactions including limits, premiums, and deductions
* Maintain accurate and careful maintenance of policy documentation and correspondence onto our e-filing platform
* Respond to client inquiries in a professional and timely manner
* Participate in internal training and team meetings to share knowledge and ideas for process improvement
**Requirements**
This role requires a Professional with experience as a policy technician/administrator or similar. You must have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members. Additionally, you should be proficient in MS Word and Excel, and able to manage document completion and layout using these tools.
* Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Professional experience as policy technician/administrator or similar
* Excellent attention to detail and understanding of policy coverage and limits, premium calculations/installments, pro-rata calculations for time on risk
* Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members
* Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
