Further building on a strong base, you oversee our Global Compliance Program. You collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that our organization sustains its growth while complying with applicable laws, regulations, supervisory requirements, as well as our internal policies and procedures. You also act as the Group’s Data Protection specialist.
1. We count on you to take a leading role in the set-up and follow-up of projects that improve our global compliance program, including topics regarding anti-bribery, fraud, antitrust, data protection & securetiry, ethical standards, governance, whisteblowing, … : Your role entails the transformation of identified compliance risks into effective compliance strategies and policies. You will be tasked with developing training modules and delivering training to local management and employees across all Group entities. Developing and putting into action a compliance reporting plan for addressing breaches of compliance policies and guidelines is within your responsibility. As a central Data Protection specialist, your responsibilities include establishing processes and continuously monitoring program outcomes. In order to effectively carry out the tasks mentioned, you remain up-to-date with international laws, regulations, and guidelines, ensuring the compliance framework stays current.
2. From a legal operations point of view, you continoulsiy improve the legal functions in the business, leading continous improvement projects and the implementation of legal technology tools.
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:
3. A Master’s degree in Law and a substantial track record in Compliance within a global context (min. 5-7 years).
4. Strong Project Management skills, enabling you to lead complex Compliance projects involving various internal and external stakeholders and ensuring excellent execution.
5. Expertise in data protection and affinity with legal technology tools.
6. Well developed interpersonal competences, allowing you to cultivate connections with stakeholders and heighten awareness among your colleagues concerning compliance risks, policies and procedures.
7. A proactive and analytical approach, coupled with strong organizational and solution-oriented skills.
8. Fluency in English is expected.
