Position Overview:
As a member of the Digital Division (Division D) of the group, the Solution Architect is an expert of SAP solutions who sets and manages the organization's SAP IT landscape in alignment with required business transformations. SAP Architects have specialized knowledge of SAP technology and therefore are able to create and execute an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions to achieve complex business objectives.
What you'll do:
* Support the OneSAP+ product clusters daily in defining architectures that are realizable by the different product teams.
* Help documenting the existing and future SAP landscape in a consistent way in line with the other architects (Business, Domain and Solution Architects).
* Be an advisor to other architecture disciplines in assessing (Architecture Trade-off) if SAP is a right solution
* Adopt and analyze constraints, non-functional and functional requirements
* Conduct appropriate decomposition within the specifics of the business capability resulting in relevant Solution Building Blocks using recommended Architectural styles and patterns (based on Reference Architectures)
* Serve as the key link aligning all relevant stakeholders in the Product Organization, the Architecture team as well as the delivery team
* Deliver Architecture Designs in accordance with company’s Groups and guidelines
* Provide designs following your experience in integration design, application architecture, and available tools
* In the design lifecycle, following the governance structures (Design Boards) for gating and decision making (using techniques such as: ADR, ATAM)
What you bring:
* At least 6 years of relevant experience in the position of Solution Architecture
* Design resilient, scalable, integrated and future ready solutions across SAP and Non SAP systems.
* Acts as a bridge between business ,platform and product team for the SAP S4/HANA digital transformation journey.
* Experience in different processes streams to identify all cross-modules end to end processes.
* Document and maintain architecture blueprints (Business,Application,Data) artefacts, flows, integration
* Deep understanding of Core SAP Modules and SAP Integration Technologies, protocols and integration styles (process, data, event-based integration)
* Foundational knowledge Standards, such as ArchiMate, TOGAF, ATAM, CBAM
* Foundational knowledge of Architecture Modeling Languages such as Archimate. An experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect is a big plus.
At least 6 years of experience with minimum two of following SAP technologies:
* Knowledge concerning SAP BTP and its service portfolio
* Migration experience SAP ECC to SAP S4/Hana
* Foundational knowledge on the LOB product offering / portfolio of SAP and how to utilize them best
* Foundational knowledge on SAP Development technologies and frameworks (not to develop, but to know the difference and being able to choose the right framework for the dedicated requirement)
* SAP Certifications like SAP Enterprise Architect, BTP Solution Architect are appreciated
* Always keen to learn new things, share your knowledge, embrace change and learn from past experiences. Drawing on a whiteboard to facilitate a debate comes natural to you.
* Able to work autonomously and take initiative for engaging with people at all levels
* Is result oriented
* Have an Agile mindset, working experience in an Agile environment is a plus.
* Able to work in a team and is always open for feedback from his/her peers
Language skills:
* Fluent in English. Supplier and procurement documentation and meetings with external parties will be in English. Knowledge of this language is mandatory.
* You are able to speak, read and write fluently English and French or Dutch.
