The company provides services and associated equipment to enterprises, governments, and public entities in sectors such as energy, defense, industry, environment, transport, and infrastructure.Context:Specializing in the treatment of steel and non-ferrous metals, the Metals division offers equipment and services for pickling, acid regeneration, cold rolling, finishing lines (galvanizing, annealing, coating), and automation. To support the execution of turnkey projects valued at 50 million euros, the company is seeking an Experienced Scheduler to manage three key projects with activities in France, Belgium, Germany, and China for a strategic customer.Nature and Scope of the Mission:The Scheduler will ensure that the deadlines for multiple consolidated projects are met by closely collaborating with technical experts and the Project Manager, using Microsoft Project to create and manage schedules.At the project level:Strategy:Participate in the development of scheduling processes with suppliers and customers.Analyze and challenge schedules (from suppliers, customers, internal teams), while feeding the corresponding indicators.Contribute to the litigation process by providing evidence of delays or non-delays with suppliers and customers.Support the project team during dispute meetings on deadlines with clients or suppliers.Assess current planning processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.Operations:Collect and analyze all necessary information to plan projects.List and sequence all activities based on the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and estimated or standard durations.Identify and integrate external interfaces (customers, suppliers...).Implement regular progress updates across the various departments involved in the project.Generate forecasts, backlog reports, progress updates, and any other documentation useful for tracking and managing projects.Analyze the critical path, identify delays, and suggest risk mitigation measures.Ensure that schedules align with delivery deadlines.Identify and resolve issues that may cause scheduling errors.Assess the impact of change requests on the schedule and propose adjustments.Challenge the organization to control and reduce delays.At the entity level:Master and apply standardized scheduling methods and tools.Collaborate with schedulers from the Industry and Environment sectors, under the coordination of the PMO Scheduler, to propose and implement standardized planning solutions and best practices.Profile:Master's degree in project management or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in project scheduling within an industrial environment.PMI-SP certification is an advantage.Advanced proficiency in project scheduling software (ideally MS Project).Extensive experience in scheduling and managing industrial projects.Strong ability to evaluate project progress and facilitate interventions.Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.Fluent in English (written and verbal); French is a plus.What Scalian Can Offer You:We offer a competitive salary package and attractive additional benefits (an appealing bonus system, company car, health insurance, meal vouchers, eco-vouchers, etc.).
