About the position As a Sales Manager for the Marine team, you will drive the growth of our OEM Marine business in the DACH & BNLX region. The ideal candidate will possess both technical knowledge and a strong commercial aptitude, enabling them to build and nurture relationships with key OEM customers, shipyards, and naval architects. As a sales manager, you will be responsible for promoting our marine solutions, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical expertise to both prospective and existing clients. Your main responsibilities Actively pursue new business opportunities with OEM manufacturers, shipyards, and marine project developers within the DACH & BNLX region. Identify, qualify, and convert leads into sales, achieving or exceeding revenue targets. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to represent the company and generate business leads. Provide technical advice and support to clients, helping them choose the best HVAC solutions based on their specific vessel requirements and project specifications. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop customized HVAC systems for marine applications. Present product features, benefits, and value propositions to decision-makers, including project managers, engineers, and shipyard leaders. Lead the coordination of technical specifications, project timelines, and contract negotiations, ensuring smooth communication between the client, internal teams, and external partners. Oversee the order process, ensuring timely delivery and installation of HVAC systems, while ensuring customer satisfaction. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs in the OEM marine sector. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management, ensuring alignment with regional goals and targets. Build and maintain long-term relationships with OEM customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolutions. Undertake other tasks as may be required from time to time by the Directors of Dometic. What do we offer?
