We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of IT to lead the entire IT function of a regulated company operating within the financial sector.
This in-house leadership role involves defining and executing a strategic technology roadmap that enables operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and business growth.
Missions
Define and implement a robust IT strategy aligned with the organization's objectives.
Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing IT systems and infrastructure.
Centralize data management and lead automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Oversee the selection and deployment of enterprise applications, cloud solutions, and platforms.
Establish IT governance including policies, procedures, and best practices for compliance and cybersecurity.
Build and lead a high-performing internal IT team; recruit, mentor, and retain top talent.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and agility across departments.
Serve as a key stakeholder in cross-functional decisions involving technology, risk, and operations.
Manage external technology partners and vendors to optimize value and ensure alignment with business goals.
Monitor emerging technologies and recommend relevant innovations to stay ahead of industry trends.
Lead and manage the IT budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effective solutions.
Support second line of defense activities by contributing to risk management and operational resilience.
Ensure alignment with applicable regulatory frameworks (e.g., DORA, CSSF Circulars).
Profile
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in technology leadership roles, ideally within the financial industry.
Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and software development.
Solid understanding of risk management, compliance, and financial industry regulations.
Experience managing complex IT environments in international and multicultural settings.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, CISSP, PMP) are considered an asset.
Expertise in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and MicroServices.
Strong knowledge of data architecture, databases (SQL, NoSQL), and data lifecycle management.
