Project Manager - Product Development

Role and Tasks
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic person with the passion to drive our product development projects. As Project Manager, you will work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with your colleagues of engineering, product management, purchasing, production, quality as well as with suppliers to successfully complete projects from concept to market introduction. You report to the Product Development Leader and are part of the Product Development team.
1. You manage product development projects within the Thule RV business unit.
2. You ensure that objectives are set and that projects stay within scope, time & budget and that they are executed in-line with internal and external quality standards and practices.
3. You follow-up closely on timing and deliverables defined in the Thule Project System (TPS).
4. You organize project team meetings and drive the project teams.
5. You coordinate and energize the team, drive decision making & delegate tasks
6. You motivate and provide regular feedback to all stakeholders.
7. You identify issues related to resource or capacity bottlenecks and escalate where and when needed to the Product Development Leader.
8. You act as a sounding board for team members within the project group.
9. You contribute to the Project governance by maintaining, optimizing, and training people on the Thule project methodology and assist in implementing additional project tools
used by Thule group in Thule NV.
Profile
10. Master's degree or equivalent through experience.
11. Proven track record in Project Management, preferably experience using a stage-gate approach.
12. Great time management and organizational skills allowing you to meet commitments for large scale projects. You have eye for detail and you are able to meet deadlines.
13. You are stress-resistant and you keep a strong focus on the deliverables, you have an analytical mind, but manage to keep the helicopter view.
14. You are capable of energizing colleagues in the project team.
15. You have strong people management skills and the desire and ability to motivate, persuade, and direct the activities of others.
16. You are an excellent communicator. Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French &
German is a plus.
