As a junior Financial Controller, you have up till 2 years of experience in providing accurate and timely company records by managing the accounting function :
* You coordinate the monthly / quarterly closings : controlling, analysis and reporting on both cost and income;
* You provide in depth - driver based cost analysis and advice to senior management;
* You produce financial statements and report to the financial regulators and authorities;
* You act as a Single Point of Contact for the external auditor and follow-up of open issues;
* You respond to ad hoc questions from different business lines within your domain.
Next to a proven experience in accounting and cost controlling, you have the following core competences : Analytical thinking, Effective communication, Flexible, Independent, Priority management, Quality driven, Stress resistant.
We are looking for an enthusiastic accountant with a love of numbers to strengthen our back office reinsurance team. Within KBC Insurance, the reinsurance department is a separate entity where we do our own accounting. The tasks are varied and depend on the phase of an internal project. As an external employee, you will take over the recurring tasks of employees in the team to make them partially available for the project. Examples of tasks to be included: monthly closing, various bookings, sending final accounts to external parties, following up on payments and receipts, and running monthly reports using existing reports.
