For a leading company active in energy solutions, we are currently looking for an experienced accountant to work as the sole accountant in a team of 40 people.
This is a challenging position for a dynamic and motivated accountant who wants to gain experience and responsibility.
The job is based in Antwerp (South).
Medior Accountant – The Job
In this position, you serve as the dedicated accountant for the company’s Belgian subsidiary. You report directly to the Head of Finance & CFO for Northern Europe and act as the primary liaison with the Shared Service Centre overseas.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Recording accounting entries and processing corrections
* Reviewing and validating accounting reconciliations
* Preparing and filing monthly VAT returns
* Serving as the main contact for external accounting firms and supporting audit processes
* Developing reports and analyses for management review
Medior Accountant – About You
* You have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent)
* You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role
* You are fluent in Dutch and English
