J-Tec Material Handling is the process engineering business unit of the group, offering material handling and process engineering solutions to the industry market leaders, in the chemical and food industries all over the world. We execute both green- and brownfield projects of different sizes with an average implementation time of one to two years.

As our Marketing Coordinator, you are the driving force behind J-Tec’s marketing and communication initiatives — both internally and externally. You also support our sales department by developing the right tools to represent J-Tec worldwide and ensure that our marketing aligns with the Katoen Natie brand.
While part of the hands-on execution of marketing deliverables will be handled by colleagues, your role will be more strategic and coordinating. You’ll work in close alignment with team members responsible for operational execution and colleagues from the Business Lines Manufacturing and Customer Care.
Your main focus will be on general corporate marketing and Business Line Projects, where you take ownership of the bigger picture, set direction, and ensure consistency across initiatives.
Tasks:
You take the lead in organizing and coordinating international and local fairs, from concept and planning to logistics and stand design — ensuring a professional and eye-catching presence.
You create and distribute a quarterly internal newsletter that keeps our colleagues informed, connected and engaged.
You manage our digital presence, keeping the website and LinkedIn page fresh and up to date. Together with internal stakeholders, you define the requirements for a future-proof website.
You organize and support client events and professional seminars — both locally and internationally.
You strengthen our employer brand and ensure it reflects our culture and values.
You monitor and analyze the success of marketing campaigns, manage online mailings and translate insights into action.
You ensure a consistent and professional look & feel across all platforms and communication tools.
You’re comfortable communicating and collaborating with a wide range of people across departments, roles, and cultures.
You work closely and effectively with our marketing colleague in Spain.
You have an open mindset and are curious about new developments, especially in the field of AI and digital innovation.
You’re open to occasional travel, depending on events, fairs, or international team meetings.
You report to the Sales Director for day-to-day operations and to the Sales Director and CEO for strategic decisions and direction.
Your profile
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Communication or a related field.
You’re a true all-round marketer — confident in both strategic thinking and rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
You work independently and take ownership, while easily managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
You bring energy, creativity, and a collaborative spirit to the company. You communicate clearly and effectively.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills (Dutch and English - Spanish is an asset) and know how to translate technical input into attractive content.
You’re proficient in MS Office — especially PowerPoint. You have in depth knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop to create strong, on-brand visuals.
You are aware of the latest B2B marketing trends, and you know how to work with social media, SEO/SEA, WordPress and Google Analytics.
You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, which enables you to take ownership, guide others, and translate strategy into action.
