Position: EHS Manager (freelance) Location: Bruges
occasional remote work possible with manager approval
Contract: Minimum half-time; 4/5 or full-time schedules also possible
The EHS Manager will oversee all Health, Safety, and Environmental matters, supporting the General Services department to ensure safe, compliant, and sustainable operations.
Oversee all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environment management
Coordinate emergency response and first aid teams
Perform chemical and process-related risk analyses
Organize safety training and seminars
Manage waste contracts and oversee external audits
Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of environmental, health, and safety legislation (regional, national, European)
Team player with a sense of responsibility
Ability to align environmental and safety objectives with industrial goals
Language Requirements
Fluent in Dutch and English
Additional languages are a plus
