As Key Account Manager Offshore Wind, you stand at the start of large technical projects that shape the global energy transition. You build long-term relationships, create engineered heavy lifting solutions, and guide international offshore wind projects from first contact to signed contract. Your mix of technical insight, commercial drive, and human connection helps our clients move turbines safely and efficiently across the world. Your job in a nutshell:

1. Maintain and grow strong relationships with existing offshore wind clients through regular visits and strategic account development
2. Prospect actively to expand your customer portfolio in a rapidly growing global market
3. Analyse client needs and design engineered heavy lifting and transport solutions using cranes, SPMTs, strand jacks, jacking systems, barges and pontoons
4. Work with Inside Sales to prepare large tenders; handle smaller quotations independently
5. Present and defend your technical-commercial proposal with confidence and clarity
6. Follow the long sales cycle closely, adjust where needed, and secure the deal
7. Negotiate contracts and ensure smooth handover to Operations
8. Guarantee strong administrative follow-up and structured reporting
9. Report directly to the Sales Team Leader Wind and work closely with teams across Sarens Projects

ABOUT YOU

You enjoy technical challenges as much as you enjoy people. You listen deeply, translate complex needs into safe, reliable engineered solutions, and guide clients through every step. You think commercially, act proactively, and stay calm in long-cycle project environments. With your technical affinity, analytical mindset, and confidence in communication, you bring clients and heavy lifting experts together.

Requirements:

10. Bachelor or Master degree (engineering, construction…) or equivalent experience
11. Several years in technical operations or sales in onshore/offshore wind, heavy lifting, or maritime
12. Strong communication skills in English, German as a plus: Dutch or French
13. Strong computer skills (MS Office, CRM)
14. Willingness to travel internationally around 30% of your time
