Solution Architect – Consumer Platform (Brussels)

For one of our clients, we are currently looking for an experienced Solution Architect to support the evolution of a strategic Consumer Centricity platform.

In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and transforming a critical ecosystem of applications towards a modern cloud-native Group Digital Platform, while ensuring full alignment with architecture and security standards.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and steer architectural activities for the Consumer Centricity platform
• Provide strategic architectural guidance to product management
• Collaborate closely with product teams to design optimal solutions aligned with enterprise principles
• Drive the transition from Microsoft Azure to a Kubernetes-based cloud-native platform
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, technology, and security standards
• Contribute to building scalable and future-proof solutions supporting business growth

Platform overview

The platform includes:

• A web platform & portals interacting with external stakeholders
• An API layer for system-to-system integration
• An internal portal for product owners and operators
• An integration layer connecting data owners, meter points, and energy asset owners

Your profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Solution Architect
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (PaaS)
• Solid experience with cloud-native architectures & Kubernetes
• Proven experience in application/platform migrations
• Strong knowledge of integration architectures & Enterprise Integration Patterns
• Experience with API Management platforms (Kong is a strong plus)

Nice to have:

• IAM (Identity & Access Management)
• Technologies: MongoDB, Kafka, Kubernetes, Harbor, RabbitMQ
• Architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate,ATAM)
• Modeling tools (e.g. Sparx Enterprise Architect)

Good understanding of:

• Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Microservices & event-driven architectures

Practical information
