The M&A Advisory team aims at advising its clients on potential mergers, sales and acquisitions of companies. The team assists its clients throughout the various phases of a M&A transaction and intervenes as from the very early stages during which our client (can be a corporate or a private shareholder) contemplates about the strategic path forward, until the very last phase during which we assist in concluding and signing an agreement.
What will you do?
As a member of the M&A Deals Advisory team, you will be responsible for supporting business origination efforts, execute transactions and support our senior team members in further developing the M&A and corporate finance service offering of KPMG Belgium.
Key responsibilities can be summarized as follows:
* Regarding transaction execution, you are expected to support key workstreams including a.o. preparing high-quality transaction documentation, due diligence coordination, financial modelling, in-depth financial and business plan analysis and valuation showing the required expertise in process management and across the entire transaction lifecycle;
* Assist with preparing value-added pitch content and supporting the strategic dialogue with our clients. You are expected to help build sector knowledge, map the M&A market for various sectors, assist in identifying key targets and gather the necessary market intelligence;
* In a nutshell you will need to have a strong desire to learn to support origination efforts in M&A;
* You will be required to actively contribute to the development of more junior members of our M&A team helping them to achieve high quality standards in transaction origination and execution.
