Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Specialist
Job Description
The primary goal of the maintenance team is to ensure that all installed equipment operates at 100% capacity, minimizing downtime while adhering to safety standards. As part of this team, you will perform preventive and curative maintenance tasks, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical problems related to operation processes.
You will be responsible for performing machinery, test, and building equipment repair, modification, and preventive maintenance (mechanics, controls & facility). You will also coordinate and supervise external companies working on site, participate in Root Cause Analysis, and plan establishment in case of major repairs.
In addition, you will report and document problems and maintenance actions on equipment, maintain spare parts and items inventory, prepare and provide test & process equipment, and propose and participate in the continuous improvement of test equipment and facilities.
You must comply with safety guidelines, actively participate in housekeeping of PEL maintenance premises, and support the deployment of the engineering & safety roadmap.
Requirements
* Educational background in Electromechanical/Mechatronics.
* Bachelor of science in Electromechanical/Mechatronics with experience desired.
* Fluency in French required; fluency in English desired.
* 5 years' experience in a relevant environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
* Technical background in mechanics and electrical/electronic domains.
* Project management skills.
Desirable Skills
* Computer skills, including basic programming knowledge.
* Strong knowledge of mechanics, electrics/electronics, sensor systems, and Siemens/ABB/Rockwell technologies.
