I am currently searching for a Head of Sales specialising within the e-mobility sector.

A fast-growing company in the electric mobility and cleantech sector is seeking a Head of Sales to lead its commercial expansion in Belgium. This organisation develops an integrated hardware and software platform for smart EV charging, operating at the intersection of energy, transport, and artificial intelligence.
Since its launch, it has experienced exponential growth and established partnerships with major automotive and energy brands. As part of its rapid scale-up, the company is looking for a commercial leader to drive market growth and strengthen its position in Belgium.
Responsibilities
As the Head of Sales Belgium, you will be responsible for leading and managing the company sales channels, and growth in Belgium. You will oversee a team and drive the region’s strategy, growth, and operational success. This role requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and the ability to motivate and grow a team, while also executing key business development initiatives to expand our market share across the region. You will work from the Brussels office 3 days a week.
Sales strategy & Leadership
* Develop and execute the overall sales strategy to grow charger unit sales and recurring revenue.
* Set ambitious but achievable targets across multiple channels (installers, distributors, automotive, e-msp, energy).
* Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team (BDs, Account Managers, etc.).
* Create robust sales processes, from lead qualification to closing and retention.
* Drive forecasting accuracy and coordinate with finance and supply chain on demand planning.
* Analyse market performance and team results, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous optimisation.
Market expansion & key relationships
* Identify and develop strategic partnerships to unlock new growth channels (OEMs, utilities, e-msp, etc.).
* Personally manage high-value accounts and complex negotiations.
* Build relationships with senior stakeholders across the EV ecosystem, ensuring strong brand positioning.
* Monitor competitive landscape and ensure we are ahead on pricing, commercial models, and value proposition.
Cross-functional collaboration & commercial enablement
* Work with Product and Marketing to ensure the offering matches market needs and is clearly positioned.
* Collaborate with the Operations and Tech teams to ensure scalable, customer-focused delivery and support.
* Partner with senior leadership to align sales goals with the company’s broader commercial objectives.
* Champion CRM usage, sales tooling, and data-driven decision-making across the sales org.
Who you are
* You have a track record of leading, managing, and motivating teams to exceed targets. You are a strong communicator and manager, capable of aligning your team around a shared vision and inspiring high performance.
* You have an electrical background, working with distribution or installers.
* You can develop and implement a business strategy that drives sustainable growth and operational excellence in the region.

* Industry Expert: A deep passion for sustainability, EVs, energy markets, or smart charging technologies.

Required Experience
* Proven experience in a senior leadership role, managing and growing teams with EV Charging experience.
* A demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with partners, customers, and stakeholders.
* Track record of scaling business operations, expanding into new markets, and leading business development initiatives.
* Deep understanding of the Belgium market landscape, including energy and mobility industries.
* Experience managing sales pipelines, KPIs, and driving performance improvement.
