Oradeo's client is an international, multi-disciplined projects company and we are currently seeking a Construction Warehouse Manager / Storeperson to support project in Mons, Belgium. This is an opportunity to join a market leading organisation in the data centre and life sciences sector.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare, monitor, and update Material Tracking Schedules and live-stock logsWork closely with Planning Engineers to ensure materials are available for construction as per programmePlan with Procurement to minimise inventory and manage direct orders, consignments, and corporate agreementsLiaise with engineers to ensure material requirements and delivery dates align with project needsExpedite and coordinate prompt delivery with the site procurement team and suppliersManage stores personnel, stock protection, and material movement from stores to siteConduct physical inventory control, verify material usage, and inspect stock for defects or damagePropose and dispose of surplus or scrap material following company proceduresTrack and trace goods in transit to site and maintain accurate records and reportsPack and unpack items for storage, prepare inventory records, and provide monthly material reports to managementPurchase new stock as required and update the computer systemManage inventory systems and data scope bookings to ensure accurate project reportingEnsure all materials comply with specifications and project requirementsAct as on-site expeditor, supporting construction teams to meet project timelinesPerform ad hoc duties as requiredIT savvy, with the ability to manage material systems and digital reporting tools
Necessary Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in materials management, warehouse, or stores roles within construction, M&E, or engineering sectorsKnowledge of material management, inventory control, and stock tracking processes in construction, M&E, or engineering sectors3rd level qualification and/or relevant experienceComputer literate; SAP or other purchasing/software experience advantageousIT savvy, experienced in managing inventory systems and data scope bookingsExcellent organisational, communication, and customer care skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProven ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilitiesTeleporter driving ticket (for storeperson responsibilities)Fluent English, both written and verbal
