Overview
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join a leading global organization in the pharmaceutical sector. This is a 12-month freelance opportunity based in Brussels, offering a dynamic, international work environment and the chance to contribute to critical supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage supply plans to ensure product availability while optimising inventory levels
Coordinate with manufacturing sites, distribution centres and external partners
Monitor demand forecasts and adjust supply plans accordingly
Identify and mitigate supply risks and constraints
Lead or support S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes
Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, quality, and commercial teams
Analyse KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain
Requirements
Proven experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or similar roles
Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
Experience in regulated industries (e.g., pharmaceuticals, biotech, or healthcare) is highly preferred
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP/APO/IBP) and advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
Ability to work independently in a freelance capacity
Languages
Fluent in English (mandatory)
French and/or Dutch (professional working proficiency preferred)
