Role Description
As a Risk & Finance Implementation Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse & challenging implementation projects in the financial sector. The candidate we are looking for is hyper motivated and hands-on, has a strong business understanding of risk management & related regulatory reportings and is able to implement sustainable solutions meeting regulatory requirements and client expectations.
Your tasks and responsibilities on the different projects may include:
* Provide advisory services in the Regulatory Reporting area.
* Design, develop, implement and customize Regulatory Reporting Solutions.
* Act as a bridge between business and IT: determine client's business requirements and translate into detailed specifications for IT.
* Combine your functional/business knowledge with technical skill set to provide true added value advice to the client.

Competences and skills
Must have requirements
* Degree in Banking & Finance, Economics or engineer with financial orientation.
* More than 2 years of professional experience in the banking sector, with a strong understanding of the banking business and financial products.
* Knowledge of risk management topics (credit risk, liquidity risk, ALM etc.) and related regulatory frameworks & reporting (CRR3, COREP, LCR, NSFR, IRRBB...).
* Programming skills (SAS, Python, SQL, R, VBA, ...).
* Fluency in English and Dutch / French.
* Team player attitude with excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
* Pragmatic approach and client-oriented attitude.
* Eagerness to explore new areas and ability to work autonomously in a result-oriented environment.
Nice to have
* Consulting Experience is a plus.
* Professional certifications such as FRM or PRM are beneficial.
* Experience in implementation of Risk and Finance vendor packages is a plus (e.g. SAS, Regnology, Wolters Kluwer, AXIOM SL/Nasdaq, Moody's Analytics).
