Short Intro and About the Job
As a Demand Planner you will manage the Demand Volume Forecasting & Demand Planning of your brands & customers.
Together with the Brand & Customer Team you manage brand & customer forecast by ensuring a complete forecast and S&OP enabling gap closure & extra business growth. Furthermore, you are always seeking to optimize forecast accuracy, by improving forecasting methodologies and tools. You are also keen to take part in the full deployment of our new forecasting tool IBP using statistical and machine learning forecasting methods.
You will be working in a team of 6, reporting into the Demand Planning Manager BELUX. Together you will discuss and implement improved ways of working and work toward an even more excellent relationship with the key stakeholders to create fully transparent and integrated solutions.
1. In more detail, you will be responsible for...
2. Short term & long term forecasting;
3. Ensuring together with Supply Planning and Customer Service (CS) that supply matches demand;
4. Ensuring consistency of forecast from period to period, tracking and explaining changes;
5. Measuring and managing the continuous improvement of forecast accuracy by improved system use and forecasting methodology.
6. Using market data to enhance demand visibility & increase forecast accuracy;
7. Working with retailers to create event forecasts (promotions, product changes) (collaborative forecasting)
8. Facilitating meetings between functions to gain demand forecast consensus as part of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), enabling gap closure & extra growth. Helping identify risks and opportunities as part of S&OP process.
9. Running analyses on historical baseline data and "clean" from events impact
10. Enriching baseline forecasts with special events based on input from Marketing, Sales, Category Management, CS and Customers
11. Representing Supply Chain in cross functional brand and customer teams.
About You
You have a Master of Science, Major in Business or Supply Chain and a first (2-3y) experience in planning, supply chain or analyst roles. Your affinity with ERP systems and eagerness to work with and explore new & existing tools (IBP, PowerBI, make you the perfect candidate for this role!

12. It is important that you have excellent analytical skills and a strong numerical understanding.
13. With your communication skills you have a strong ability to influence people/stakeholders in a multidisciplinary environment.
14. It gives you energy to work on multiple complex problems simultaneously and manage complex projects and it is a challenge for you to do so completely accurate.
15. Besides English, you preferably also master either French or Dutch
