Job Description
This role plays a pivotal part in our company's success by efficiently issuing insurance policies to European clients and brokers. The position also involves providing administrative support to local underwriting teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create new and renewal insurance policies within our technical policy system, adhering to underwriting instructions.
2. Analyse technical data and calculate transactions including limits, premiums, and deductions.
3. Manage policy documentation and correspondence on our e-filing platform, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
4. Take calls, attend meetings with brokers, and engage in professional email correspondence as required.
5. Participate in internal training and team meetings to enhance knowledge and processes.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need:
* Professional experience as a policy technician or administrator, with a strong understanding of policy coverage and calculations.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate policy details to clients and brokers.
* The ability to work independently and collaborate with team members, demonstrating diligence and a service-minded attitude.
* Efficient time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word for document completion and layout, as well as Excel for data analysis and presentation.
