Collaborating with multiple functional groups in Mondelēz International and external organizations and opinion leaders, you develop and deploy nutrition strategies for your assigned business units. You contribute to our well‑being and mindful snacking strategy by growing our portfolio in the well‑being space, guiding credible innovations and renovations, building credible brand communications, and leading external nutrition outreach to empower people to snack right.
How You Will Contribute
You will offer strategic direction, nutrition and well‑being thought leadership for our well‑being strategy, inspiring product renovations and innovations. Working with regulatory and scientific affairs, brand teams, consumer insights, nutrition research, and legal, you will promote nutrition and well‑being messages and claim development across media (packaging, advertising, websites, recipes, materials for nutrition/health professionals, etc.). In this role, you will lead internal nutrition and well‑being education programs to increase employee knowledge and awareness and implement the local health influencer outreach programs and nutrition conference strategies to drive brand credibility and growth. Partnering with regulatory and scientific affairs, corporate affairs and the global nutrition network, you will support the external influencing strategy and stakeholders’ communication related to the nutrition agenda. As a people manager, you will direct a remote team of nutrition professionals covering our nutrition strategy and communications responsibilities.
What You Will Bring
Registered dietitian nutritionist
Nutrition experience with deep experience in nutrition communications and nutrition affairs issues management, preferably in the food industry
Translating scientific knowledge into relevant and credible messages, making dynamic and informative public speaking presentations, and strong copywriting skills
Influencing senior cross‑functional partners and external bodies
Managing people, including developing individuals, setting development plans and managing the career development of a diverse team
Handling complexity, working with cross country/category teams and working with internal and external stakeholders

We are seeking a senior visionary nutrition professional to spearhead the development of cutting‑edge nutrition strategies and approaches for our key brands in Mondelez International Europe Region (MEU), such as Belvita, Philadelphia, Milka, Cadbury, Oreo or LU.
In this high‑impact role, you will serve as the lead of an expert nutrition team, inspiring and empowering them to proactively translate science and external insights into strategic, actionable opportunities to drive growth for European business.
You and your team will be instrumental in championing our mindful snacking wellbeing strategy and informing innovation and renovation plans. This involves guiding product design, consumer‑centric winning claims and breakthrough communications that are rooted in robust nutrition science, regulatory and policy foresight and evolving consumer needs.
You will also collaborate expansively with diverse cross‑functional groups within Mondelēz International and external organizations including leveraging a strong proven experience, presence and active influence within trade associations, translating scientific insights and your expert understanding of the dynamic external environment into business preparedness strategies and plans. In addition to guiding our portfolio of the future, your expertise, strong external networks and leadership will be critical in shaping our food and nutrition policy perspective and plans and advancing Mondelez related advocacy agenda.

How You Will Contribute (European Director)
As the European Director, Nutrition & Scientific Affairs, you will offer strategic direction and nutrition thought leadership for our mindful snacking wellbeing strategy in Europe Region (MEU) inspiring product renovations and innovations. Working with regulatory and scientific affairs, marketing, consumer insights, nutrition research, and legal, corporate affairs and strategy, you will promote nutrition and wellbeing messages and support the development and substantiation of science‑backed claims used across media (packaging, advertising, websites, recipes, materials for health professionals, etc.). Leveraging your understanding of nutrition science and public health and partnering with key functions corporate and government affairs, you will be a lynchpin in informing the company’s external food and nutrition policy advocacy strategy and efforts. You will also represent the company’s business interests by developing a strategic plan of participating in strategic, external industry groups and scientific organizations. You will direct a remote team of nutrition professionals, located in multiple countries and covering NSC responsibilities within their business units.
What You Will Bring (European Director)
Well‑established Nutrition expert with deep experience in nutrition science, communications, policy and issues management, in the UK and Europe, within the food industry
Strong proven experience, presence and active influence in representing company interests within trade associations and external organizations
Established people/team leader with ability to manage remotely
Translating nutrition insights and scientific research into relevant messages and credible claims
Possessing excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to convey complex nutrition concepts in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
Influencing senior, cross‑functional partners and external bodies
Operating within a dynamic food policy and regulatory landscape, and partnering with other functions to effectively guide the business
Managing and coaching people, including building strong teams, growing individuals and setting and managing professional development plans for a diverse team
Handling complexity, working with cross country/category teams, working with internal and external stakeholders, and working on multiple, high‑profile projects in a dynamic environment
Travel requirements: 10‑20%
