Data Leadership Role
This is a pivotal leadership position where you will oversee a broad data capability that includes data engineering, analytics engineering, platform engineering, and architectural services.
Your mission is to steer a large, diverse, and highly skilled team toward delivering trustworthy, purpose-driven data and platform services to internal stakeholders.
This role calls for a visionary leader with a strong grip on budget management, an understanding of modern data architecture and data product thinking, and the ability to coach managers while navigating complex stakeholder dynamics.
You will ensure the data build capability is in perfect lockstep with evolving business priorities — reliable, scalable, and business-centric.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate and lead horizontally within the Data & AI leadership team.
* Own and steer a broad data capability that includes data engineering, analytics engineering, platform engineering, and architectural services.
* Manage a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring alignment, performance, and professional development across technical & non-technical roles.
* Work closely with strategic IT partners to deliver engineering capabilities through partnerships and internal analysts, specialist architects, and analytics engineers.
* Translate strategic business goals into technical direction, shaping a portfolio of capabilities that evolve with business needs and create measurable business impact.
* Ensure services are data consumer–centric, balancing high technical quality with usability, responsiveness, and tailored service to business teams.
Requirements:
* A passion for bridging business and technology.
* Proven experience in leading large-scale, multi-disciplinary teams and managers in complex enterprise environments.
* Strong strategic budget management skills and experience overseeing investment planning and resource allocation.
* A data consumer–centric mindset, with a clear focus on value creation, service excellence, and long-term adoption.
* Advanced stakeholder management capabilities, including coaching others in navigating and aligning with diverse internal stakeholders.
