The Reservation Manager oversees all reservation operations to ensure efficient booking processes, high customer satisfaction, and optimized occupancy or inventory levels. This role manages the reservations team, coordinates with other departments, and uses data to forecast demand and maximize revenue. MISSIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and oversee daily reservation activities across phone, email, online portals, and third-party systems. Ensure accurate and timely processing of reservations, cancellations, amendments, and special requests. Maintain updated availability across all booking channels. Provide exceptional service, ensuring guests or clients receive prompt and professional assistance. Handle escalated guest inquiries and resolve booking issues. Build positive relationships with guests, travel agents, and partners. Lead, train, schedule, and motivate the reservation team. Conduct performance reviews and implement development plans. Maintain a positive and collaborative working environment. Work closely with the Sales and Revenue teams to apply pricing strategies. Analyze booking patterns, occupancy trends, and seasonal demand. Recommend rate adjustments, promotions, and distribution strategies. Oversee and maintain reservation systems (PMS, CRS, OTA extranets). Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reservation reports. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all systems. Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure seamless guest experiences. Communicate booking trends, special events, and guest needs. PROFILE REQUIRED Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). 5 years min of reservation or front-office experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Experience with hotel/booking software (e.g., Opera, Amadeus, SynXis, Cloud PMS). SKILLS Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent leadership and team-management abilities. Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reservation systems.
