Description:
* Hiring a Techn Install - General Linux server infrastructure and datacenter operations for the Operations department of the Company.
Context:
* The Junior Technician Installer - Linux Server Infrastructure General and Data Center Operations is responsible for setting up and maintaining several systems used by the Client.
* This includes daily management of existing systems (backup and monitoring, incident resolution, etc.), as well as designing and implementing major changes, new systems, and removing old systems.
* This position focuses strongly on Linux system administration and data center operations in an enterprise environment.
* Data center operations here refers to planning, executing, and documenting the installation and disassembly of server, storage, and network equipment, as well as their patching, in the company's own data centers.
* The Technician/Installer - Server Infrastructure will work within the LUNS IT Operations team. This team is responsible for managing all LV Linux systems, network equipment, and storage equipment. Knowledge and experience with Linux server administration is by far the most important for this position, but knowledge, experience or interest in enterprise network and storage administration is also considered a plus.

Technical competencies:

* Demonstrable knowledge of and demonstrable experience with Linux system administration in an enterprise environment (preferably Suse Linux Enterprise Server)
* Demonstrable knowledge of and demonstrable experience (1 year) with datacenter operations: planning, executing and documenting the (dis)assembly of server, storage, and network equipment and their patching, in own datacenters.
