Required: Project Engineer - Subsea Cable Installation We ARE Renewables is currently looking for a Project Engineer to be involved in subsea cable installation activities for the offshore wind industry. In this role, you will be working on projects located all around the globe with the opportunity to visit project sites offshore. We are looking for a project engineer with a background in subsea cable installation, cable pulling, and trenching activities. Tasks & Responsibilities: Being responsible for the engineering, preparation, and execution of our projects. Develop method statements for works before the execution phase offshore. when on-site, optimizing and implementing the method statements in practice. communicating between the site or vessel and the office. keeping track of the installation process on the bridge on board one of our vessels. monitoring the progress of the project, participating in coordinating activities in the field, optimizing and fine-tuning where necessary in support of the Works Manager or Superintendent. taking care of ad hoc needs of the project and actively responding to questions from the project management. ensuring planning, production reporting, budget control, and cost monitoring in this role you will be working office-based during the preparation phase of the project and during the project execution phase on 6 weeks on/ 6 weeks off rotation (you will have time off in between rotations) on site. Requirements: MSc or BSc Offshore Engineering, Marine Engineering, or any other relevant engineering discipline. experience in the areas of Civil Engineering, Dredging, or Marine Engineering is a plus. 2-6 years of experience in cable installation, trenching, and cable pull-in activities. willingness to work abroad on our vessels or projects and in the office. fluent in verbal and written English.
