The Role
We're looking for a Product Engineer to own the technical development of our hard goods portfolio — from feasibility and prototyping through to production-ready products. You'll work directly with our suppliers (primarily in Asia), validate materials and manufacturing processes, ensure compliance, and build the technical standards that allow us to scale.
What You'll Do
* Lead end-to-end product development for assigned hard goods: develop concepts based on market requirements, benchmark competitor and potential supplier samples, evaluate feasibililty and risks, material evaluation, prototyping, DFM alignment, and supplier iteration
* Define product requirements and functional test plans, validate compliance (REACH, CE, LFGB, mechanical safety) before launch through labs where necessary
* Approve pre-production samples (FBS, PPS) and define inspection checklists and QC standards
* Run post-launch quality reviews (returns, defects, customer feedback) and drive corrective actions
* Build and maintain a Technical Development Wiki: testing standards, materials guidelines, supplier requirements, DFM rules
* Provide technical support to sourcing, supply chain, marketplaces, and brand teams for smooth launches
What We're Looking For
* Must-have: 2+ years in product development engineering for physical consumer products
* Must-have: Hands-on experience with prototyping, material selection, DFM, and supplier iteration
* Must-have: Strong technical xsgtzvk problem-solving — you diagnose failures methodically and drive corrective actions
* Must-have: Fluent English (working language)
* Nice-to-have: Experience working with Asian factories, SolidWorks/Rhino, or having brought a consumer product to market end-to-end
