Key Responsibilities
As an ASME Authorized Inspector, you will carry out the inspection of equipment and components used in industry and offshore markets, complying with ASME, international standards and also European Directives, in a safe work environment.
To perform the inspection, you will be in charge of steps from the customer clarification of needs to the release of the product certificate.
Routine inspection or small projects management will be part of your activities on the Belgium territory.
Regular visit to our clients, you will represent Lloyd’s Register and will allow you to maintain communication, receive feedback for continuous improvement and to promote our services.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
You are educated to a minimum of bachelor’s degree level and equivalent to a Chartered Engineer (Civil, Electrical or Mechanical).
You have at least years of experience in the inspection industry.
You are welding engineer or have a sound knowledge in welding, materials and NDT techniques.
Valuable knowledge and understanding of Pressure Vessel Regulations (EC Directives PED //EU, AD).
You are a French speaker, Dutch speaker and are fluent in English.
You have a strong relationship building skills and the ability to influence customers.
You are not afraid of traveilling in Belgium for performing inspection.
