We are looking for a Project Verification & Validation (V&V) Manager to lead, organize, and carry out verification, integration, and testing activities in a major signaling project. This will involve integrating an ATO (Automatic Train Operation) solution, ranging from product development to project implementation, to meet the client's specific needs in terms of Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
Main Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the following activities:
- Define the V&V strategy for the project by creating the Verification and Validation Plan (V&V Plan) to ensure that customer and design requirements are adequately covered and validated.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Test & Commissioning, other departmental experts, etc.) and external stakeholders to ensure optimal test coverage.
- Optimize the allocation of tests between in-house and on-site testing, favoring the former to increase efficiency and coverage.
- Manage documentary verification activities and organize related reviews.
- Monitor V&V activities executed by other departments and ensure the implementation of test benches and analysis tools as needed.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, applicable standards, and methodologies, requesting deviations when necessary.
- Define the Requirement Validation Table (RVT) to demonstrate the validation of technical requirements.
- Represent the company in front of customers, partners, and auditors, presenting an overview of the testing strategy, progress, issues, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead and manage the V&V Team, ensuring their deliverables are provided on time and independent from design.
- Ensure test compliance with safety requirements in cooperation with the Safety Assurance Manager.
- Select and manage subcontractors for external testing activities.
Profile / Requirements :
Education:
Engineering degree or equivalent in a technical/scientific field (a Master's degree in Engineering is an advantage).
Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in system integration, embedded systems, or electrotechnical product development in highly complex and regulated environments (railway signaling, aerospace, defense, nuclear).
Experience in safety assurance or quality management is a plus.

Work Environment
