We are looking for a Payroll Admin with 3/5 years of experience, project based (3-6 months contract). We are two companies under the same roof - Essensium (product company) and Mind (embedded Linux consultancy). We are solid and healthy companies with brilliant people, flat no-nonsense culture, with an international and scale-up type of environment (57 employees in total) where you can learn a lot.


You will be working closely together with the Finance Director and CEO helping with payroll and administrative processes for both companies. This role offers a broad and interesting mix of functions and will allow you to grow in responsibilities very fast.


* Location: you live close to Leuven, at commutable distance to our office in Heverlee
* Contract type: freelance or temporary contract
* Duration: 3-6 months
* Office/remote: we expect you to work from the office 3 days per week, 2 days from home
* Can be part time (3-4 days per week).
* Languages: English and Dutch is a must, French is nice to have. Though English is the main communication language for both companies, payroll related documentation is both in Dutch and English. Therefore English and Dutch is a hard must at a good written level. French is nice to have and enough on a conversational level - to communicate with some customers.
* Background: We are looking for someone with strong experience in Belgian payroll: 3-5 years of experience.


Who you are:

* 3-5 years in payroll and fin tasks (invoicing)
* Good and efficient organizer, eye for detail
* Common sense approach
* Proper written and oral communications skills in Dutch and English, good conversational French.


What you will do:

> Payroll

* Manage permanent employees (57) and freelance contracts
* Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures
* Work in close cooperation with our payroll partner
* Being a contact person for colleagues when they have payroll questions

> Fin tasks: invoicing

> Other admin tasks:

* Manage company cars fleet and work with the car leasing companies
* General admin related to the foreign subsidiaries (UK, France: three employees per country)
* Coordinate with our insurance agencies
