Accounting & Reporting
* Oversee statutory and consolidated accounting (BE GAAP & IFRS)
* Ensure timely, accurate and performance-driven monthly and annual closings
* Maintain strong internal controls and compliance standards
Tax Governance
* Assume overall responsibility for group tax matters
* Coordinate with external tax advisors
* Secure compliance and mitigate fiscal risks
Team Leadership
* Lead and develop a team of ±15 accounting professionals
* Structure performance management and succession planning
* Drive engagement within a senior and experienced workforce
Transformation & Change Management
* Lead finance transformation initiatives
* Accelerate digitalisation and process optimisation
* Promote continuous improvement and operational efficiency
M&A & International Development
* Support financial due diligence processes
* Lead post-merger accounting integration
* Align newly acquired entities with group standards
Strategic Partnership
* Report directly to the CFO
* Act as a business partner within the Finance leadership ecosystem
* Contribute to strategic discussions and participate in Executive Committee meetings when required
Jouw profiel
* Strong expertise in BE GAAP and IFRS (insurance sector exposure is an asset)
* Proven experience in team management and change leadership
* Background in an international group and/or post-M&A integration
* High affinity for digital finance, ERP systems and process optimisation
* Ability to combine operational excellence with strategic perspective
* Fluent in French, Dutch and English
