Job description
Context
As a senior Information Security Engineer, you have over 5 years of experience in proactively and reactively monitoring and remedying security breaches. You are usually part of the SOC (security operations center) and play a key role in analyzing and mitigating security risks across digital infrastructure. Your analytical mindset helps detect patterns, assess vulnerabilities, and develop proactive strategies to defend against evolving cyber threats in different layers of the IT organization including business priorities.
Missions
* Investigate suspicious activities and take remediating actions
* Maintain security monitoring tools to effectively secure and monitor different systems
* Perform penetration tests to find any flaws
* Document, test, and monitor any security breaches and assess their damage
* Take ownership in security processes and vulnerability management
* Analyze and mitigate security risks across digital infrastructure
* Detect patterns, assess vulnerabilities, and develop proactive defense strategies

Requirements
1. Over 5 years of experience in information security and monitoring security breaches
2. Knowledge of ICT, Agile Methodologies, and Application Management
3. Experience in Cyber Risk Management, Incident Management, and Root Cause Analysis
4. Strong understanding of Information Security principles and OWASP standards
5. Experience with Vulnerability Management and Web Security
6. Fluency in Dutch and English
7. Analytical mind with strong conceptual thinking
8. Being proactive and taking initiatives
