This growing start-up in the Flemish Region is hiring a permanent Machine Learning Engineer to help turn ideas into production systems that customers actually use. You won’t be buried in process, stuck doing research for research’s sake, or boxed into a narrow corporate role. Instead, your work will ship, scale, and directly shape the product.

The Role
You’ll join a hands-on product team and play a key role in building and deploying machine learning solutions that solve real problems. The company moves quickly and values engineers who take ownership, think pragmatically, and enjoy being involved beyond a strict 9–5 when needed.

What They’re Looking For
* Around 5 years of experience in machine learning or a closely related role
* Clear evidence you’ve built and shipped real products
* A hands-on, product-driven engineer who enjoys ownership and problem-solving
* Someone motivated by building, improving, and taking responsibility
* Comfortable with the flexibility of start-up life (including occasional longer days)
* Experience outside of rigid corporate environments
* Practical experience over academic focus
* Tech-stack agnostic — capability and mindset matter more than tools
* Based in Belgium (required)
Nice to Have
* English and Dutch
* A good sense of humour — the team is smart, driven, and human
