Project Survey Manager
who brings vision, leadership and technical expertise to elevate all survey activities within a project to the highest level
Your Role
Your role: lead, coordinate, and drive progress.
As Project Survey Manager, you are the beating heart of all survey operations on your project. You set the strategy, define the approach and lead a team of (senior) surveyors to ensure safe, accurate and efficient work.You make sure the right people and equipment are deployed at the right time, that all systems are installed and functioning properly, and that data is not only collected but also interpreted and transformed into valuable insights for the project team. Thanks to your coordination, every project phase stays informed and supported.You act as the central point of contact for all survey-related matters. You report clearly on progress and challenges, guide your team in their development, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and innovation. Subcontracted survey work also remains under your quality supervision. And throughout every step, safety is your top priority.
Two months on, one month off
As an expat on one of our global projects, you will work within a different work regime. This usually includes two months of 12-hour work days, six days a week, followed by one month off. This work regime may vary depending on the project. It is demanding work, but you will gain a wealth of knowledge and experience and during your month off, you are free to live life your way.
What do you need to have?
* You hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrography, Electronics, Geology, Land Surveying, Geography, Bio-Engineering or Topography
* You bring proven leadership experience as a hydrographic or land surveyor and thrive on motivating and developing your team
* You stay calm and decisive under pressure and take initiative whenever needed
* You plan and organise effectively, set clear priorities and always keep project goals in sight
* You communicate confidently and clearly with all stakeholders
* You think ahead, improve processes and drive innovation
* You are willing to work on our worldwide projects in a rotation system
