We are looking for a temporary Order Fulfilment Coordinator (until December 2026) to ensure Borealis delivers on its promise: on time, in full. You will coordinate the smooth execution of customer orders – from allocation and transport planning to on-time delivery – working closely with our plants, warehouses, and logistics partners. In this role, your eye for detail, problem-solving mindset, and strong communication skills will directly contribute to cost optimisation, service excellence, and customer satisfaction.
In this position, you will:
1. Coordinate customer deliveries: Manage and monitor shipments from production plants, RDCs, and depots to customers, ensuring they are executed according to agreements and contracts. Allocate product batches based on quality, priorities, and availability, keeping all stakeholders informed.
2. Plan and execute transport: Book, confirm, and follow up transport orders with carriers and warehouses. Solve capacity issues or last-minute exceptions and arrange spot shipments when needed.
3. Monitor and resolve issues: Proactively track delivery status and loading slot bookings. Handle exceptions, customer complaints, and return orders, always looking for the best logistics solution.
4. Ensure accurate administration: Finalize freight costing and invoicing, including handling of exceptions and additional costs. Perform stock control activities and manage sample deliveries.
5. Drive improvement and collaboration: Work closely with Scheduling, Customer Service, and Logistics Service Providers. Initiate process improvements to optimise costs, improve service, and strengthen customer satisfaction.
About you
You hold a bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field and bring 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably within Supply Chain. With a solid understanding of Supply Chain processes and expertise such as transportation, supply planning, or sales order execution, you combine strong analytical skills with a structured and solution-oriented mindset. You are stress-resistant, a true team player, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, enabling you to build strong networks internally and externally. You are proficient with MS Office and have hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) Finally, you have an advanced command of English, spoken and written, which allows you to collaborate confidently in an international environment.
