We’re currently partnering with a globally recognised food manufacturing group to recruit an experienced Maintenance Technician for one of their key production sites in the Flemish region of Belgium.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly automated, market-leading facility known for its strong investment in technology, quality, and continuous improvement.
🔧 The Role
Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and optimising production equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Flanders, Belgium
Contract: 6 months
Start: Immediate
Rate: Excellent hourly rate (above market average)
Responsibilities
* Preventive & corrective maintenance on production lines
* Troubleshooting mechanical & electrical faults
* Supporting automation systems and PLC-controlled equipment
* Minimising downtime and ensuring operational efficiency
* Maintaining high safety and quality standards
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in industrial or food manufacturing environments
* Strong mechanical and/or electrical background
* Experience with automated systems (PLC knowledge advantageous)
* Proactive mindset and ability to work independently
