About the role As part of our Finance team in the Belux region, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to support our Product & Solutions business unit. In this role, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments, while contributing to efficient and compliant financial operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and play an active role in the closing processes. Key responsibilities Process, verify and post all incoming supplier invoices, including EDI and Peppol invoices Ensure correct coding and accurate posting of invoices in the accounting system Manage daily bank transactions and prepare supplier payment runs Monitor, analyze and follow up on outstanding invoices and discrepancies Support monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities, including booking of accounting entries Prepare and perform balance sheet reconciliations related to suppliers and project accounts Assist with intercompany transactions, billing and reconciliations in collaboration with senior accountants Support the preparation of VAT declarations Actively contribute to process optimization and digitalization initiatives within Accounts Payable Your profile Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent by experience First experience in an Accounts Payable or accounting environment, through an internship or a first role Good knowledge of Dutch and/or French, with a working knowledge of the other language Strong attention to detail and accuracy Reliable, well-organized and able to meet deadlines Good communication skills and team spirit Eager to learn and adaptable in a changing environment Comfortable working independently Technical skills Good knowledge of Excel Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP) is an asset Knowledge of banking tools (e.g. Isabel) is a plus What Econocom Offers You An attractive compensation package including hospitalization insurance, group insurance, meal vouchers, eco vouchers, and flexible homeworking.
