As part of its continued growth, our client is actively seeking a Field Sales Manager in Flanders, Belgium.
Company Profile
Our client is an industrial group established in the 1990s, operating primarily in the BeNeLux region and serving a wide range of sectors including chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, automotive, steel, food, and energy industries.
The group is built on three core areas of expertise:
1. Supply of industrial equipment, particularly pumps and rotating machinery
2. Services for the repair, improvement, and reliability of industrial pumps
3. Repair services for foundations and bases under rotating machinery such as pumps, compressors, and granulators
In addition to its sales activities, our client also provides preventive and corrective maintenance services and has long-term maintenance contracts with several major industrial players. The company is the only actor on the Belgian market offering such a comprehensive range of services.
What we expect from you
As a Field Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing the customer portfolio. Your main duties will include:
4. Visiting clients in your assigned territory to promote the full range of services offered by the group
5. Expanding the existing customer base and identifying new business opportunities
6. Regularly informing clients and prospects about the company's services and offers
7. Following up on sales projects, preparing offers, and responding to client needs
8. Preparing daily activity reports for the sales department (based in Wavre)
9. Maintaining regular communication with the head office in Wavre (presence at the office one day per week)
10. Managing a territory primarily covering Flanders, with potential interaction in Wallonia and Brussels
Essential criteria
11. Languages: native Dutch speaker required + good command of English (French is a plus)
