Within the Insurance division, whose mission is to ensure the profitability, development and sale of our products and services and to steer our life insurance portfolio, the Business Change & Monitoring Department steers the Life Insurance business through numerical analyses, provides technical support by carrying out the necessary technical and actuarial studies and analyses business projects with an IT impact.

Your responsibilities
As a life performance expert, you will be responsible for steering the life insurance portfolio.
Your responsibilities therefore include:
* Portfolio analysis and management:
o Monitoring and analysing life insurance portfolio trends (reserves, premiums, payments) and contributing to the studies needed to ensure the profitability and development of our portfolio.
o Using and creating dashboards and numerical analyses to monitor key indicators.
* Strategic plan:
o Drawing up the multiannual strategic plan with precise figures and incorporating your narrative
o Setting business goals and hypotheses in cooperation with the interested parties.
o Translating portfolio trends into budgets and financial forecasts.
* Financial close cycle:
o Producing the necessary monthly, quarterly and annual reports for closures
o Providing external reports for reinsurers and regulators.
o Ensuring the quality of the data needed for reports and monitoring corrective actions
Your profile
* You have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in mathematics, actuarial sciences or economics.
* You have previous experience within data analysis and/or performance teams, ideally in the life insurance sector or bank investment products.
* You have an excellent level of French or Dutch with a good command of the other national language and can work effectively in English.
* You have an analytical mind coupled with the necessary capacity for abstraction to permit an understanding of results/figures and formulation of recommendations.
* You are able to present your analyses clearly and effectively to all kinds of interested parties, including Senior Management.
* You have Excel (VBA) at your fingertips and are comfortable with Powerpoint.
* You have a good command of at least one database query language (SAS, SQL); knowledge of Power BI, Python or PowerQuery is a plus.
* You are committed and able to meet tight deadlines.
* You are autonomous and take initiatives.
