THE BACKGROUND
As a ITSM/ITAM Consultant, you will manage, evolve, and support NRB's ITSM platform (BMC Helix), working both on internal initiatives and customer-facing consulting engagements. You will bring a demonstrable level of expertise and experience to our organization to solve, manage, or advise on ITSM/ITAM tooling related challenges.
YOUR MISSION
Your responsibilities will include the maintenance (run) and development of our ITSM/ITAM Tool (both for NRB's internal use and for customers). You will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, designing and implementing new developments and integrations that meet our internal and customers' needs.
Your role interacts with every department within the company. The ideal candidate will be open minded and strong in communication skills to help gather business requirements and manage change.
Your responsibilities will be as follows:
* Configuration & troubleshooting of the ITSM/ITAM tool used by NRB (BMC Helix).
* Keep focus on continual improvement.
* Ability to translate business needs into technical configurations, work collaboratively with process and service teams.
* Design and implement workflows, forms, business rules, and integrations.
* Diagnose and resolve incidents and manage (Configure, design and implement) the change requests assigned to the team.
* Ability to work autonomously and proactively.
* Perform special projects and initiatives as assigned.
* Maintaining up to date documentation of designs/configurations.
YOUR TEAM
You will be part of the Service & Tooling integration team within the Cloud Platform department of NRB.
The team comprises ten people specialized in middleware and consulting related to the Service & Tooling integration.
You will be coached and mentored by Cymon BIRTLES, your direct manager.

YOUR PROFILE
* A bachelor or master's degree in relevant studies;
* Minimum 3 years of experience administrating and/or implementing ITSM Tools, including
* Strong understanding of ITIL processes and how tooling supports them
* Basic data modelling and understanding of CMDB/asset models
* Workflow engine experience
* French and English proficiency, and good knowledge of Dutch is a great asset.
Nice to have:
* Proven experience or at least knowledge of API integration patterns
* Knowledge of scripting languages such as Powershell/Javascript and SQL queries;
* Existing Knowledge of BMC Helix ITSM tools is a plus;
* Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON knowledge
* Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle) is a plus;

* Excellent customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written) – consultant approach.
