Payroll Implementation Consultant | €530 per day | Belgium | Remote | Freelance Contract
We’re working with an innovative organisation transforming payroll through a cutting-edge, cloud-based calculation engine and they’re looking for an experienced Payroll Implementation Consultant to join on a contract basis.
The Role
As a Payroll Implementation Consultant, you’ll act as the functional lead across implementations, supporting clients from initial discovery through to go-live and beyond.
You’ll be responsible for:
* Leading client workshops and gathering payroll requirements
* Translating requirements into configuration workbooks
* Identifying gaps against standard product functionality
* Supporting payroll configuration, testing, and validation
* Managing defects and coordinating resolutions
* Supporting integrations, data mapping, and UAT cycles
* Driving knowledge transfer to operational teams post go-live
Requirements
* Proven experience in payroll implementations (outsourcing or software)
* Strong knowledge of Belgian payroll legislation and compliance
* End-to-end project lifecycle experience
* Confident in client-facing roles and stakeholder management
* Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
* Ability to clearly document and translate business requirements
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment
