This role will focus on ensuring continued L2 support for existing applications while also offering expert guidance and consultation on other Business Applications when required.Responsibilities:End-User SupportIncident Logging and TrackingEscalationKnowledge Base ManagementUser EducationInstallation and configuration of server operating systemsConfiguration and administration of web and database serversService monitoring and reportingContributing to disaster recovery planning processMaintaining system documentationORACLE DATABASE and ORACLE APPLICATION SERVER (OAS) management in production and test environmentCommunicate effectively with users to understand their issues and provide clear instructions.Collaborate with IT teams to resolve issues and improve service deliveryRequirements:5 years’ experience as a Support Engineer (L2 Support) with the following qualifications:Intermediate understanding of end-user devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones) running Windows OS and Apple iPhones/iPadsExpert knowledge of Oracle databases 11g and 12cFamiliarity with Microsoft services and tools, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for BusinessAdvanced knowledge of Veeam backup and VMwareKnowledge and experience with practical application of SHAPE standard operating procedures and the ADP security rules laid down by SHAPERecent experience in the analysis, design, modelling, and development of large-scale distributed software-intensive transaction processing systems (like management information, stock management, etc)Intensive and up to date knowledge of Data Base Management Systems (ORACLE), database programming techniques and data management conceptsAdvanced knowledge of bar code system programmingIntermediate understanding and knowledge of JAVAFull proficiency in English.
