Your role: the link between planning, operations and strategy
As a Business Analyst, you are part of the Business Analytics & Planning team within the Portfolio & Strategy department. You support the business in strategic analyses. You do this by interpreting data, detecting opportunities and supporting decision-making.
You work closely with colleagues in operations, portfolio management, strategy, and finance. With your reports, business reviews, scenario analyses and trend insights, you provide steering support. You also advise the management based on your insights in collaboration with strategic business partners.
What you’ll be doing specifically:
1. Analyze and monitor planning and progress of current and future projects (volumes, KPIs, forecasts, milestones)
2. Translate business questions into analyses and dashboards, and provide actionable advice
3. Prepare business presentations, dashboards and PowerPoints for management and stakeholders
4. Support budget rounds and business reviews, forecasting and extrapolation
5. Perform ad-hoc analyses and create insights for internal and external stakeholders
6. Collaborate with IT & BI teams to translate needs into concrete dashboards
7. Translate business decisions into scenarios and simulations to support strategic decision-making
Profile
What you bring to the table:
8. Master’s degree or equivalent through experience
9. Strong analytical skills and excellent Excel knowledge (Power BI is a plus)
10. You work thoroughly, independently and with a critical eye
11. You are pragmatic and look for feasible, action-oriented solutions that add value
12. You can present clearly and to the point, in both Dutch and English
13. You prepare clear presentations and reports that are “executive ready”
14. You enjoy working across teams and building strong relationships with colleagues
15. (Nice to have) You are experienced in functional analysis or in defining business requirements (for IT-related projects)
16. (Nice to have) You are familiar with or experienced in process optimization or supporting process changes
