Role Overview

As an HRIS Specialist, you play a key role in ensuring the effective management, accuracy, and usability of HR data and information systems. You support the success of our global HR operations and the continuous growth of our international organization by enabling data-driven decision‐making, safeguarding data quality, and enhancing HR processes through a reliable and future‐proof HRIS environment.

You are part of the global HR team and collaborate closely with HR colleagues, IT partners, and external vendors to maintain, optimize, and expand our HRIS functionalities.

Tasks & Responsibilities

1. HR Data Management

* Support the collection, organization, exchange, and maintenance of HR data to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems and locations.
* Perform regular data audits and quality checks, identifying discrepancies and initiating corrective actions.

2. HRIS Administration

* Act as the day‐to‐day administrator of the HRIS platform, including configuration, updates, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
* Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve technical issues and support system enhancements, migrations, or implementations.
* Provide or coordinate end‐user support and training for HR team members and employees.

3. Reporting & Analytics

* Develop standard reports, dashboards, and metrics to support data-driven decision‐making.
* Analyze HR data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
* Prepare ad‐hoc reports for HR leadership and other stakeholders.

4. Compliance & Data Security

* Ensure HR data aligns with global data protection regulations and internal policies.
* Work with information security and compliance teams to maintain data privacy and implement appropriate access controls.
* Safeguard confidentiality and ensure secure handling of sensitive data.

5. Process Improvement

* Identify opportunities to streamline global HR processes through enhanced HRIS functionality.
* Contribute to HRIS improvement initiatives, including requirements gathering, testing, and documentation.

6. Documentation & Training

* Document system procedures, workflows, and best practices.
* Deliver or support user training on HRIS functionalities and customizations.

Profile

Qualifications

* A higher education degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
* Several years of experience in HR data management and HRIS administration within complex or multinational environments. Experience with Workday is a plus.
* Familiarity with multiple HRIS modules or solutions (e.g., personnel administration, payroll, talent management, compensation & benefits, time registration, self‐service, analytics, system integrations).
* Knowledge of data protection and security regulations.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with the ability to extract and visualize insights from HR data (e.g., Tableau).
* Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Detail‐oriented and committed to accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and ethical data handling.
* Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Willingness to travel regularly between company sites in the Netherlands, Belgium, Great Britain, and occasionally Western Europe or the USA.
