Function
The Treasury manager plays an important role in supporting financing, reporting, and compliance activities in the Treasury department. Based in Brussels, this position works closely with internal and external stakeholders to support funding initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance and contribute to the company’s green finance strategy. The Treasury manager reports to the Head of Treasury.
Your Responsibilities
* Actively collaborate to debt-raising projects and manage existing financing programmes (RCF, commercial paper, etc.), as well as related frameworks such as Elia’s Green Finance Framework, Green Bond factsheet, EMTN, etc.
* Actively monitor market developments and dynamics
* Support marketing and communication efforts related to financing transactions and events
* Monitor and manage compliance with financial covenants and applicable regulatory requirements
* Coordinate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, rating agencies, and internal departments
* Collaborate effectively across departments to ensure alignment between Treasury activities and broader business objectives
Your Profile
* Proven experience in corporate Treasury with a solid understanding of financial instruments
* Knowledge of non-standard financing structures/instruments (e.g., project finance, ECA financing) is a plus
* Experience with hedging activities is a plus
* SAP experience is an advantage
* Well-structured, decisive professional with excellent analytical, synthesizing and organizational skills; project management experience is a strong asset
* Ability to operate effectively in a multicultural environment
* Excellent communication skills with fluency in French, Dutch, and English
* High standard of ethics, professionalism and integrity
* Results-oriented and proactive mindset
